1) Who Can Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2) Accounts and Security

You are responsible for:

• The information you provide when creating an account.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

3) The Point of the App

What's Your Beef is meant for playful, constructive communication about everyday irritations. It is not a platform for harassment, doxxing, threats, hate, or targeted abuse.

4) User Content

"User Content" includes any beefs, responses, text, and other materials you submit through the Service, whether private or public.

A. Private vs Public Content

• Private content is intended for the participants involved.
• Public Beef content is visible to other users. You are responsible for what you choose to share publicly.

B. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences of posting or sharing it.

C. License You Grant Us

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, you grant Avatar Generation, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content only as needed to operate, improve, and provide the Service, including displaying public content to other users and anonymizing content as described below.

5) Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or bully others.
• Post hateful or discriminatory content.
• Post or solicit violence or self-harm content.
• Share personal or sensitive information about others without permission (e.g., addresses, phone numbers, private communications, financial info).
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or invasive of privacy.
• Use the Service for spam, scams, or deceptive activity.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the Service, or bypass security.
• Use the Service to target a specific person for public shaming or coordinated harassment.

6) Public Beef and Community Input

The Service may allow users to post content to a public space and receive community reactions such as "Valid Beef" or "Overreacting." Public reactions reflect users' opinions and are for entertainment and perspective only. We do not guarantee accuracy, fairness, or outcomes from public input.

7) Moderation and Enforcement

We may (but are not required to) review, monitor, or remove User Content, and we may suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion, to:

• Enforce these Terms,
• Comply with law,
• Protect users and the Service.

8) Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account from within the App.

When you delete your account:

• We remove your account information and private content, including private beefs and private responses associated with your account.
• Any Public Beef posts you previously shared that were not anonymous will be anonymized (updated to display as from "Anonymous") and will no longer be associated with your account identity in the public experience.
• Public Beef content itself may remain available in the public space in anonymized form.
• Some minimal records may be retained where required for legal compliance, security, or abuse prevention.

9) Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party services (e.g., hosting, authentication, app stores). Your use of those services may be governed by their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10) Intellectual Property

The Service, including the app, design, logos, and underlying software, is owned by Avatar Generation, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless we give you written permission.

11) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from using the Service, including any relationship or communication outcomes.

12) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AVATAR GENERATION, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN ANY EVENT, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

(Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.)

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avatar Generation, LLC from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service,
• Your User Content,
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons.

16) Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Unless prohibited by law, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
