A. Information you provide

• Content you create: including private beefs, responses (agree / ask for clarity / agree to disagree), and any text you submit.
• Support communications: information you include when contacting us (e.g., email and message details).

B. Information collected automatically

To operate and secure the App, we may collect:

• Basic device and app information: such as device type, operating system version, app version, and language.
• Basic usage and security information: such as timestamps of actions (e.g., creating a beef, sending a response) and technical identifiers needed to maintain sessions and prevent abuse.

C. Private vs public content

• Private content: Private beefs and related responses are intended to be visible only to the participants involved (for example, sender/recipient) and the systems required to deliver them.
• Public content: If you choose to post a Public Beef, that content is visible to other users in the public space. Public Beef posts may be created as Anonymous (where supported in the App), meaning your identity is not shown to other users.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate the App (accounts, posting beefs, delivering private beefs, enabling responses, enabling public posts and reactions).
• Maintain safety and integrity (prevent spam, fraud, harassment, and misuse).
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.

How We Share Information

We may share information only as follows:

A. With service providers

We use service providers necessary to run the App (for example, cloud hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery). These providers process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

B. Public content you choose to share

If you post a Public Beef, that content is visible to other users. Please avoid including personal information (names, phone numbers, addresses, or anything you wouldn't want shared publicly).

C. Legal and safety

We may disclose information if we believe it's reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
• Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or our services.
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

D. Business transfers

If Avatar Generation, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

Your Choices and Controls

A. Public posting is optional

You can use the App without posting publicly. Public Beef posting is your choice.

B. Delete your account and personal data

You can delete your information from within the App.

When you delete your account:

• We remove your account information and private content, including private beefs and private responses associated with your account.
• Any Public Beef posts you previously shared that were not anonymous will be anonymized (updated to display as from "Anonymous") and will no longer be associated with your account identity in the public experience.
• Public Beef content itself may remain available in the public space in anonymized form.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate purposes such as security, dispute resolution, and enforcing our policies. If you delete your account in the App, we delete personal data as described above.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact info@whatsyourbeef.net.

International Users

If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Community Content and Safety

Public content is intended to be playful and non-harassing. We may remove Public Beef content or restrict accounts that violate our policies, including content that is abusive, hateful, threatening, or that targets individuals.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the App or by other appropriate means. The "Effective date" reflects the latest version.
